We are going to hold the KADOH (Flower arrangement) workshop on November 28th.
KADO is the traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement. It’s also called IKEBANA. It started from early Buddhist flower offerings. By the 15th century, ikebana was a popular art form and the traditional style is to arrange flowers, branches, and grass in a shallow vase.

And, TOKYO CRAFT ROOM is the largest and gorgeous room in our hotel that considers the value of craft and functions as a new place of creation, shaping craft for the future.

To celebrate the 4th anniversary of the opening of the antenna shop “COCO SHIGA” operated by our company, UDS Co., Ltd.
We will hold “Shigaraki ware painting experience ” in TOKYO CRAFT ROOM at HAMACHO HOTEL.

Shigaraki ware is a pottery made mainly in Shigaraki, Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, and is one of the six ancient kilns in Japan.

The painting experience is an experience of drawing , coloring paintings and letters on an unglazed vessel. Why don’t you take this opportunity to make your own original Shigaraki ware plate?

* Please select the plate (13 cm or 16 cm in diameter) you wish to paint on the day. We will prepare 15 pieces each and guide you on a first-come, first-served basis.
* Shigaraki ware plates will be mailed to your home after being baked in Shigaraki.
